Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the media and bloggers. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and are widely loved. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway from her side, also gave the song a boost of recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in her attic and being captivated by the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only for pleasure or to aid in growing, but that she must pursue it. As a result, she began to write her own music. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork for being among her inspirations. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mom suggested they can help other people, not to gain fame with her music, but rather to help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument when she was six, and she started making music at the age of nine. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she reached the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. Music to her is the best method of feeling anything.
